Who I Work With
I work with women over 50 who want
to feel real joy in their daily lives, but currently feel frustration, confusion or pain.
I assist them in discovering the
"big picture" for their lives
so they have a new and broader context within which to understand themselves. I help them to find solutions for
their immediate problems, to feel excited about their lives and their potential contributions to the world. |

|
 |
You are in a relationship which feels stalled
or frozen in place. You feel that
neither you nor your partner is growing, yet you don't want to leave the relationship. |
| |
|
 |
You feel angry and frustrated much of the time, but you do not know exactly why, since, for the most
part, your life is going OK. |
| |
|
 |
You have been laid off and need to figure out
what to do next. You would like
whatever you do to be meaningful and satisfying, but don't know what that might be. |
| |
|
 |
Your relationship has ended and you feel lost, uncertain and are in pain. You don't know how to feel
better, and don't know where you will get the energy to carry on. |
| |
|
 |
You have devoted so much time to your husband
and children that you have lost track of who you are. You love your family, but need to regain a sense of yourself as an individual. |
| |
|
 |
Your life has changed. Your children are living their own lives; you have retired
from your career and are now in your 70s or 80s. You wonder if there is something more you could do with your life.
You still have lots of get up and go, but don't know where to take it or how to get there! |
| |
|
 |
Your life feels empty. You don't know what your passion is in life, but would
like to find it. |
| |
|
 |
You know what your passion is, but you're afraid
to pursue it. Afraid you will
fail, be laughed at or not approved of. Your passion will take you out of the familiar box you've been living in,
and you're afraid of that. |
| What Kind of Women Work With Me? |
| |
You will likely have success working with me
if you are willing to look at yourself,
rather than looking at the people around you as being the source of your problems. You are willing to work and
are open to change.
You are willing to make the time
and invest the effort to renovate
the aspects of your life which are not working in order to create a life you will love.
You are willing to make change
a priority. There is an old adage
that says "no one likes change except babies." Change is hard for us because our habitual ways have momentum,
and what is familiar is very magnetic. So, in the beginning, making change feels like going against the pull of
gravity, but with time and a little consistent effort, you can create something new in your life.
You are willing to consider new
ways of thinking and being, and
to expand your horizons.
You are interested in using yourself
and your skills to make a difference in the world.
If you are reading this, it is
likely that you are dissatisfied with some area of your life. You have asked your self Dr. Phil's famous question
"How's it working for me?" and have answered "Not that well!" Therefore, perhaps you need to
find a bigger picture for yourself.
Now that you know the kind of women
I work with and the issues I help them resolve, I invite you to learn more about how I work. |

"There are women who make things better, simply by showing
up. There are women who make things happen. There are women who make a difference, and women who make us smile.
There are women of wit and wisdom who, through strength and courage, make it through. There are women who change
the world everyday - women like you."
~ Ashley Rice |
"Susan, you were the one who gave me a chance to try out
my music at Synergy Breakfast, giving me permission to get that first CD out. You were our guiding light, bringing
us together with a common purpose. Those times I will treasure always."
